I can't say enough about South Africa and all it has to offer. We have had a great time and sad to see it come to an end. We are heading home tomorrow and have 3 connections so should take awhile. Not looking forward to coming back to NE snow!!

Adrenaline junkies

Today we went into town to do some shopping at the craft market--thank goodness Jamaica has prepared us for this! Then it was off to let the kids do 2 zip lines and a river gorge swing. It sounded much safer than it actually looked when we got there. I still can't believe they did it. The zip lines were between a huge gorge and the swing was a free fall of 220 feet-- Olivia let Collin have her turn on that one!

Yesterday was our first full day her at Victoria Falls. It is unbelievable hot and humid here- I think it got up to 95 degrees. We took a hike in the morning to see the falls. This is the low water season- unfortunately.. If you come in the high season you don't get a chance o see the falls due to the spray, but would have been nice to see it a little fuller. We took a helicopter tour also and hen a great sundowner cruise last night where we saw all kinds of hippos in the river and tons of elephants trekking over an island. It was unbelievable!

Our night ended with getting Collin and Olivia's fortune told. Collin will be in very good health for his life and travel a lot and Olivia will have a successful business and have twins!! Ha-- she is thrilled!!

These banded weavers were making all kinds of noise as the males were making their nests. They make the nests hanging down from the trees so the snakes can't get the eggs. None of the snakes in Kruger can swim in water

Lioness with her recently killed buffalo. It was the neatest thing to see all 16 of the pride guarding the kill from the hyenas and vultures, taking turns keeping guard and seeing them all laying around with fat bellies after dinner
