Playing between game drives

Giraffe head skull

Relaxing

Queens of the jungle

We had about 100 elephants, including lots of babies all around us

Stopping for a sundowner

These banded weavers were making all kinds of noise as the males were making their nests. They make the nests hanging down from the trees so the snakes can't get the eggs. None of the snakes in Kruger can swim in water

The hippo

Collin trying a sour fruit they picked for us

Rhino and her baby

Olivia got to be our tracker-she didn't spot much though! She was enjoying the ride too much

Thomas and Martin getting out to track the leopard

Lioness with her recently killed buffalo. It was the neatest thing to see all 16 of the pride guarding the kill from the hyenas and vultures, taking turns keeping guard and seeing them all laying around with fat bellies after dinner

The working dung beetle
